Thai universities use GPA/CGPA on a 4.0 scale under MHESI oversight. Credit-weighted; credits called "Credits". Pass mark typically Grade D (50%). GPA/CGPA reported to two decimal places. Some exclude pass/fail or remedial courses.
- Grades: A, B+, B, C+, C, D+, D, F from percentage ranges.
- Grade points (4.0): A=4.00, B+=3.50, B=3.00, C+=2.50, C=2.00, D+=1.50, D=1.00, F=0.
- Credit weighting: Grade points earned = GP × Credits.
- GPA/CGPA: GPA = Σ(GP × credits) ÷ Σ(credits). CGPA across all semesters.
